Rear Extension & Loft Conversion

Before we approached Mark, we were very unsure of our options and how the building procedures and processes work. We had never been involved in a large extension or any building work before. It was all new territory to us and a bit daunting to be honest. We had an idea of what we wanted to do but needed both expert advice and a person to trust, to make our dream a reality. Our biggest concern, as it was such a big job, was finding someone who was trustworthy who would listen to us and give us guidance on what was both feasible and achievable. After all, when it is a major job, that is going to impact your family life through the process and it’s your hard-earned money, it really must go right!

As soon as we spoke to Mark and then when we met in our home, I felt my shoulders drop. He was so easy to talk to, he asked questions to identify what we wanted to achieve, so from the outset he understood our requirements. He gave us so many ideas to think about and options of how to achieve them. He was so easy to talk to and patient.

We felt both relaxed and informed, and confident to ask new questions. He listened to us. In fairness we did change our plans on more than one occasion, and he was always there to advise and help. He was fantastic with ideas and layouts.

The quality of work was excellent and constant throughout the whole process. The Building control inspector also commented on how detailed and thorough the drawings were. Everything was always made clear to us at each point. Marks customer service was very professional and, also very human too.

Our lives have been transformed significantly; our home now has the most amazing family room for a large family of 8. The process in which we got there was honestly virtually stress free due to the people we had to carry out the process at each stage.

I feel we are truly unable to express how grateful we are to Mark in words, but the proof is in our family living. Without a shadow of a doubt I would ask Mark to carry out work for us again and recommend his company again and again.
